TURN BACK THE CLOCK WITH DERMAL FILLERS

As we age, facial tissues begin to lose volume and skin that was once smooth and youthful may be showing fine lines and wrinkles. Injectable dermal fillers are a gel-like substance that is injected beneath the surface of the skin to fill these areas with lost volume. This can help to erase wrinkles and restore a youthful, healthy appearance. Fillers offer a cost-effective, non-invasive way to look younger in as little as a single office visit and with no downtime.

WE ARE HERE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT BOTOX® AND FILLERS

  • How does BOTOX® treat TMJ and jaw pain?

The temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) is used for all types of common movements and actions, such as talking or eating. Whether through stress or becoming displaced, patients can begin to suffer tension headaches or pain in and around their jaw.

BOTOX® offers a quick and effective method that relieves this tension by freezing these muscles, keeping them from engaging in painful, unconscious movements.

  • How long does it take before I should see relief of my symptoms?

Patients may notice improvement and minimized pain in as little as 24-48-hours after their appointment, while some can take up to a week.

  • Are BOTOX® or Dermal Filler injections painful?

While some patients may experience slight discomfort at the time of injection, it is typically mild and brief.

  • Is there any downtime or recovery period following BOTOX® or Dermal Filler injections?

Since BOTOX®  and Dermal Fillers are non-surgical and non-invasive, most patients should have no issue resuming regular activities. It is suggested to avoid touching or rubbing the area where you received the injection to avoid spreading the injection to surrounding muscles.
